Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Suzan Zeder's Wiley and the Hairy Man as a brand new reimagined musical! StageOne is proud to collaborate with Zeder and Louisville's own Harry Pickens to compose a beautiful score of lyric poetry. Drawn from folklore, young Wiley sets out for the woods, prepared to confront the frightful Hairy Man; choosing to look fear in the face and overcome it. Suzan Zeder chairs the Playwrighting Department at UT Austin and is recognized around the world for her plays for young audiences. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever- November 24, December 8 & 15, 2 pm & 5 pm, December 20, 10 am & 12 pm.
The Herdmans have bullied their way into the churches' annual Christmas pageant and the whole town has gathered to see them ruin it! Will the pageant be a disaster as everyone is expecting, or will the spirit of the season change the hearts and minds of the Herdman family? Featuring a cast of over 32 students from Louisville and Southern Indiana, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever has been a perennial favorite at StageOne for 20 years! Directed by Lucas W. Adams.

Jackie and Me, February 23, 2 pm & 5 pm.
Celebrate baseball legend and hero Jackie Robinson during Black History Month! Jackie and Me follows Joey Stoshack, a headstrong young boy with a special talent for time travel. Assigned to write a report on an African American who has made an important contribution to society, Joey travels back in time to 1947, meeting one of history's greatest baseball players, Jackie Robinson; a meeting that will forever change his view of history and his definition of courage. From playwright Steven Dietz, Jackie and Me explores racial issues in the U.S. and its effect on Robinson as a major league ballplayer, including Robinson's long time relationship with Louisville's own PeeWee Reese. This production will be seen by over 20,000 students at the Kentucky Center and the Ogle Center on the campus of Indiana University Southeast.

Charlotte's Web, May 11 & 18, 11 am & 2 pm.
Published in 1952, Charlotte's Web is argued as one of the best children's books ever written. It has sold more than 45 million copies and has been translated into 23 languages. Based on E.B. White's own experience, this beautiful, knowing play speaks to the meaning of friendship. Wilbur, the irresistible young pig, befriends a barn spider named Charlotte. When a bleak message is delivered regarding Wilbur's fate, Charlotte begins spinning winning words into her web to save Wilbur's life. A campaign that proves to be victorious, thanks to Charlotte, and her web. Celebrating 60 years on the page, StageOne is proud to close its season with Charlotte's Web. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
