Pandora Productions has announced the retirement of long-time Producing Artistic Director and actor Michael J. Drury.  After nearly 25 years at the helm of the critically acclaimed Louisville theatre company Pandora Productions, Michael J. Drury is stepping down from his role to retire at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Performances and the cast have been revealed for the regional premiere of the musical The Prom. The Liminal Playhouse to Stage EDWARD GANT'S AMAZING FEATS OF LONELINESS


Artistic Director Tony Prince and Producing Director Richard McGrew announce that The Liminal Playhouse is going out with a bang with its nineteenth Louisville premiere and final production: “Edward Gant’s Amazing Feats of Loneliness” by Anthony Neilson opening May 26. Written in 2008 but set in 1881, this play is the final performance of a Victorian theatre troupe led by an opium addict. An odd combination of melodrama, comedy, and fairy tale, it is a strange, and at times grotesque, exploration of loneliness, love, memory, the ephemeral nature of life and of theatre itself.

Los Angeles-based indie rock band Near Beer — Joey Siara (vocals, guitar), Brent Stranathan (drums), Jeremy Levy (bass, backup vocals) — have shared a brand new single entitled 'Yelling at a Dog.' It comes off their self-titled album. The band describes the album as a set of 'mini-anthems about insomnia, drinking, and human connection.'
